Novartis will be a big presence in San Diego some day. We're getting to be quite a biotech center. The paper says Novartis will have a staff of about 200 at this new facility (just down the street from the Scripps Research Institute). On Aug. 4 I will be visiting the UCSD Medical School again to tour their arthritis research labs. I hope to get an update on the Novartis work going on there.
