To all: PP doesn't always have a negative impact on price. E Group did one not long ago and their price jumped. Seems to me a PP is a good thing. A big infusion of money so the company can go about its plan of growing its business by selling shares that must be held for a length of time. Hopefully, by the time they can sell the PP shares the price is up and stable and the selling of those shares will have little impact on the price. I'm not sure I see the downside, especially if it puts INFE in a position where the market actually sets the stock price (what a novel idea, huh?). If there is an institution or company out there that believes enough in INFE to tie up that much money by buying PP shares to help it grow, then I am intrigued.
One question is: What does "holding long" mean. For some, that means a month, for others a year. To me, long is at least a year. I got in at .55 can sell for a $1/share profit today. Not bad, I'd take that every time and be happy about it. Who wouldn't? If you were in to turn a quick profit, and there's nothing wrong with that, then the time to split passed you by at about $5 a few weeks ago.
I need to hear more about the PP before I pass judgment, but if there is a PP that fits the profile I mentioned above then I can only see the benefit. Maybe not tomorrow, but perhaps by the end of the next quarter? Of course, maybe I am missing something. I will stand corrected if somebody can tell me what I am missing. Perhaps I shouldn't be thinking out loud..... |
