Dear Emile, I for one recall the things you mention in your post. Me, personally, believe the misunderstanding to be due to the fact of cold worlds on the internet rather than warm face to face conversation. For our own benefit, doesn't Jesus teach us to forgive one another? ""For if you forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you." (Mat 6:14 NKJV) ""But if you do not forgive men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses." (Mat 6:15 NKJV)
Jesus has also laid out a process that we should follow to resolve conflicts: ""Or how can you say to your brother, 'Let me remove the speck from your eye'; and look, a plank is in your own eye?" (Mat 7:4 NKJV)
Jesus desires that we do some things in private first.
""Moreover if your brother sins against you, go and tell him his fault between you and him alone. If he hears you, you have gained your brother." (Mat 18:15 NKJV) ""But if he will not hear, take with you one or two more, that 'by the mouth of two or three witnesses every word may be established.'" (Mat 18:16 NKJV) ""And if he refuses to hear them, tell it to the church. But if he refuses even to hear the church, let him be to you like a heathen and a tax collector." (Mat 18:17 NKJV)
Love You,
David |
