i see you didn't read much, i was asked what the GROSS MARGINS was in the business, and that is what i answered, what the average gross margins are.

also, for the companies that cover with cooper futures and they don't use them, they just expire and it lowers their GROSS MARGIN, because now their COST OF GOODS is higher.

Do you even know what a future is??? i didn't think so

It can be considered a competitive advantage by whoever buys the futures, its their choice to buy or take their chances.

once again my DD explains to you the very simple answers that you are looking for, the discussion is about GROSS MARGIN, don't post if you can't read, which you seem to have a problem with.
