Have said it many times--
in my opinion, the whole concept of drinking micro beer, is to try new ones, and Sam Adams is no longer a true microbrew.
Why would I buy a Sam Adams, when I could be a Jordan honey, licorice, lemon, peanut butter beer???
So many new brands to try, Sam Adamss sounds like Budweiser now, too commercial, and as a micro maniac, want something untried, unheard of...
But from sales point of view, it's getting on to the shelves and into the bars...
But again, if am in a microbrew pub, would prefer to try new beers, not Sammy! |
