Aurora Biosciences Reports Second Quarter 1998 Financial Results biz.yahoo.com negative 40 cents versus projected negative 28 cents biz.yahoo.com BIG increase in R&D costs (more than double most recent Q). Total revenues up about 25% from last Q. R&D expenses seem likely to continue if they have added a lot of people this past Q. Cash and investments total ~30,000,000. At this rate of quarterly loss enough for about 6 quarters. Report originally listed as coming out August 4 on Zacks so it surprised me in coming out this afternoon.
