I do not believe any of the "bashers" were responsible for the decrease in the price of this stock. I liked the story, but felt it was over priced initially. It still might be over priced considering where they are in testing, but IMHO it is a reasonable risk now. The majority of the responses to the "bashers" did not impress me at all!
Quite truthfully, I felt this stock was being hyped. Maybe it was, maybe it wasn't, but I think all the posts about the need for "artificial blood" and possible "cancer cures", etc were jumping the gun a bit. I don't think anyone would deny the need for an "artificial blood." I would have been more interested in hearing about the Japanese history of this product. Were the studies published anywhere? What did those studies involve? Yes, I know. Do my own DD. I intend to, but time is at a premium for me right now.
Then there was the little matter of Dr. Drees title. I don't have a problem with him not having a medical degree, but I feel like an absolute idiot for not making the connection between Dr. and Ph.D. earlier! Heck, we are probably better off with his expertise, but somehow the constant emphasis on Dr. and medical products colored my perception.
It is kind of a funny feeling to like the stock, but enjoy many of the "bashers" posts more than the "pro" posters. |
