Michael, big shoes is an understatement. What kind of marks would you give Herb in terms of what Max Weber would call 'institutionalizing his charisma'? That is, how well has he trained his successor? How well has he put LUV on a self-sustaining path to fulfillment of his objectives for LUV without him being at the helm. Does he ever take a back seat just to see how she flies without him? And how many packs of cigarettes does he smoke a day? By the way, I've been nibbling at Greyhound (BUS). I think they are finally beginning to show some common sense in rationalizing their route structure. Recognizing the importance of intermodal. Nice NOL carryforwards too.
