Do you have any suggestions for parameters to use with screening software (such as stockquest that can be downloaded free from Ameritrade) for longs or shorts? I have used so far some methods that have worked reasonably well: For longs the best fundamental parameters which will produce only a few results and then looked at the charts. For shorts I have used downtrending moves. There is always room for improvement and I am looking forward to some ideas!
