Almost all internet stocks are up in after hours trading.
I really don't know why people would short EGGS when earnings are due in the coming days. I know you daytraders are just trying to generate more cash by going long then short during momentum but this stock is ready to move like no other e-tailer. I once believed that EGGS could never be another Amazon and to a certain degree i still do. But looking at the valuations of its peers like ONSL and SWNT, i'm starting to believe that EGGS is VERY undervalued. Considering that Surplus Auction is on track to compete with ONSL and Egghead.com is on track to compete with SWNT, we're basically talking about ONSL and SWNT combined into one entity. This valuation formula is very general as you can see, but it clearly does make alot of sense. If Egghead.com generates more than the $7million SWNT has made the past quarter then Egghead.com alone should be valued at $500mil. Just my thoughts. And i do realize that currently ONSL generates far more revenue than Surplus Auction but Surplus should be competitive within the next few quarters. And lets not forget about Surplus Direct. Long on EGGS.
