Sonki. Thanks for info on AMZN. I sold it a cpl of days ago. I listened to the discussions on the conf. call. C-Net came in under estimates if you take a one time gain out of the earnings. Everybody is talking about the net stocks rising tomorrow. Maybe they will, maybe they won't. It depends how investors view the earnings. Some may look at it as the glass half full and others as the glass half empty. I made some gains and intent to hold out for lower prices before I would try it again. Lucent had great earnings. I think we will be very happy with it in the future. Intel is being touted again by lots of analyst's as a very good buy and CPQ got first place in PC sales on the low end in June. dailynews.yahoo.com I don't think that spells any trouble for Intel. The high end will be on its way soon. Those low end cpts will probably be bought as second or third ones by most. Today I have only one regret, even though most of my stocks ended up in the red, that I never did buy QCOM. But I did buy some more HWP today at 55 3/4. Bottom fishing. I guess I did not find the bottom. It went down some more just at closing time. I got it a couple min. before closing. So somebody dumped some more. I sold some of my Merck yesterday and hope to buy it back soon. I hope you did not have CA. Ouch. A cpl more days and I may bottom fish there. That company never gets respect anymore. Sonny
