Thanks for the info on thin client.

It is fair to say that a big part of Oracle's application strategy is to capture the growing part of the market that wants/requires thin client support. In the segment of the market (Fortune 1000) that is adapting ERP first, the economics of thin client are very compelling. ORCL solved the problem by changing their own development tools and providing an application server as "middleware" between the HTM protocol (stateless) and the client/server protocol (stateful). Its kinda like MSFT writing the APIs they need for an Office suite as they write the suite, kinda.

It will be interesting to watch.
