Sun Tzu,

(Bless you ;-) Rhymes with achoo, get it?

Anyway!

Good suggestions. I'm with ya on the layered 3D look of windows. I think you could easily represent the layers of Windows with a 3D popup version that graphically represents your present position within Explore much better than putting one window on top of another as is the status quo.

I also like the possible customization issues with a different envirionment for each user based on 3D worlds represented by windows on top of your desktop. Of course Microsoft Bob totally sucked but it doesn't mean some Marketing punk couldn't sell this to Mr. Bill the SNL playdough dummy who learned everything he needed to know from Steve Jobs in 1982. But, I digress and discredit my point with my open hostility towards MSFT.

Hey TDFX, take a page from Bill's book and give it away! Make it a part of the pending Win 98 patch and get it posted on windowsupdate.microsoft.com. Make the patch, approach MSFT with a free sample and offer Bill the oppurtunity to appear cooler than he is. Hell, even buying The Rolling Stones ("Start Me Up" Win 95 ad campaign) didn't make Bill really cool did it? This would be like making him a Quake king in the eyes of the gaming community.

So, less than 10 posts on a very uneventful day for our beloved TDFX. That is truly sad. Sun Tzu, it's tough to earn repsect on this board. I give you credit for more eloquently posting the (outlandish) possibilities of TDFX than I did.

Best of luck in your investments whether or not you are short TDFX. (Of course I would prefer that everyone were long)

Regards,
Stuart

PS. I thought VooDoo Lights was LAME. Let's see some Unreal demos or Fractal patterns that at least make Voodoo chips know they're in use.
