I had to use my HWP IIcx scanner and Wordscan 4.x to OCR this in. That means an hour of corrections. I don't do that unless I think what I'm posting is important. If you know the above stuff's superior quality (claimed by the mfgers), you appreciate my effort. The XML standard is really getting a notice. One company which once had me write them a system, called me to ask if I would recook their site to the XML standard. I told them it wasn't necessary, but they were very insistent. I had to beg off since I don't write any more. I took Mark F.'s advice when I realized I should have done stress testing before I put my fist through the monitor. The synergy of XML and Objectstore made me suddenly realize my original reason for buying ODIS, the critical need of dynamic storage to serve the internet, could still be realized. That couldn't be done as long as the tyranny of arrayed junk was in flower. I see the handwriting on the wall for l'ancienne regime through this little exercise in tag writing called XML.
