What does this thread think about a HWP and DELL merger
within 2 to 3 years???

These two companies would have the best cross pollination of
products of any computer company.

Both companies have established strong relationships with
Intel and Microsoft. Non of the two companies have entered/
recognized the sub 1000 PC market or use NON-Intel Processors.
They already have agreements where Dell sells HP printers
and Network management software.

With HP, the proposed merger would get High End Computing,
Chip Technology (Merced), Computer Accessories (printers, scanners)

With DELL,the new company would get the DIRECT CHANNEL
INFRASTRUCTURE and also the number one PC company (soon)
in the world.

Anyway it was late night, couldn't sleep and my mind started wondering.

Any comments, opinions welcome.

P.S. This merger also makes sense when you look at Dell's PE and
Market Cap. Dell needs alternative products and revenue
stream for the future.
