to be fair, I think that the stock price volatility has shown that anyone who has thrown hard currency at AMZN or other 'nut stocks, whether long or short, is speculating. I know that if I hadn't have cut my losses on my July puts, I would have lost 100%. Thanks much for your comprehensive coverage of the CC. Based on the WSJ (the first story anyway), CBS MarketWatch, and CNNfn stories, the full contents of the CC have not been absorbed and interpreted. Flat earnings predicted - Wow. Going to be tough for the mo-mo people to put a positive spin on that -- look what such comments did to Computer Associates today. But then, they are one of the those old-fashioned "bricks and mortar" software houses, so I guess we can't really compare apples to apples. -G-
