I've been lurking on SI since about late Oct 97... I've been in
FNTN
since about that time and have been a regular 'lurker' on SI all the
way, even though I'm not a member... I've spoke with Malcolm
several
times through e-mail before... I firmly believe in what FNTN is
doing
and think it can be a top notch stock in the near future... A friend of
mine emailed our shares to be counted long ago, but neither of us is
on
the mailing list...

Hey fntners: Did we have a fine day or what? This is a fine time to
sit back
and bask in the splender of the moment. It is a time you feel
thankfull for
riding out the peaks and valleys and are finally rewarded for all
your DD. I
just want to pass on my thoughts as some of you have requested
them and answer
some questions I received in my mail today.
As I have said in other posts, today was not the storm but only the
calm. A
very nice almost uninterrupted steady rise, like a premier company
and not a
penny stock. But what have I been saying for two months? How
many pennies can
survive this long with no news? FNTN has never acted like a
penny stock and
the management does not sit around all day drumming up empty
press releases to
put out on the wire! FNTN is for real
Now about the selling, many asked if I was tempted to sell, yes we
are all
tempted to sell on what appears to be a phenominal run up, but
unless you
think this is going to back way up, you better consider tax
consequences and
the risk that this issue may catch fire and fly before you sell! I have
been
in AOL five times in the last year and every time I sold I had to
buy back at
a higher price. If I would have just held my 1200 shares at 27,
13.50 split
adjusted I would have made over 200k on that issue alone!
Now the news on FNTN has not even come out yet so if it bounces
to 2 or 2.50
before we get the whole story, selling is like playing Russian
Roulette with
five chambers loaded! IMHO
Here are a few responses to the other questions:
Is FNTN for real?..........YES
Is the web site better than average?......Much better
Is the IBD acqusition still alive........Yes
Will FNTN make us rich?......No one can say that but the people
that held are
a lot richer than those that sold!
