Flier,
Reverse split:
EPEA has been surviving by selling stock to raise money in their development stage. Once the development phase is over and it's time to move forward they need to clean up the stock. There are too many shares at too low a price for any big investors to be interested. The big investors want to see a smaller float so they can buy up a big block and take control of the trading range.
A 10/1 reverse split works like this:
ten million shares become one million shares, the consolidation removes the shares from existance. The price increases by ten. The pump and dump scams use this technique and issue more shares after the reverse and the shares outstanding goes back up and the price comes down. If anyone thinks this is a pump and dump, you had your chance last week to sell and move on. This board is inhabited by long term value holders and investors not pump and dump. A reverse split would be good for everyone to get the price up to a respectable level and clean up the float. We are finally getting close to action after years of following this little company so lets support the efforts of management and move forward.
