Hip Hip Hurrah! My Heartburn over HeartScan is over!

This is tremendous news. Everybody wins. We get the cash, they take over the payments. The losses disappear. Lifetest becomes a client that will buy more machines. Imatron can divert all that manpower and money that was being sucked up by HeartScan into selling machines. GE is on board to market.

The situation has gone from abysmal one year ago to very positive.
Lifetest has an existing patient base and doctor network. That's what it take for this to work. HeartScan did not and was competing against the system. This is a good match for both firms.

Accuimage is also on board for virtual everything.

We still have work to do. Two major roadblocks.

The insurance companies have to get on board and we can help by pounding on the government. Insurance companies were forced to pay for mammograms through legislation.

The second is that a lot of Doc's think the machine is worthless. Imatron has to address that issue. It's hard to get some people to listen.
