You are a bit beyond my knowledge on this issue. From what I do understand, I hope that if the parent has other uses for the company planned it is a concern that the minority shareholders be treated fairly. I am still amazed at how a company that was in bankruptcy court and whose shareholders were going to lose all equity rights, is swept out with an alternative plan from another ("white knight?") bidder so that my shares are now trading at $10 and the company reports quarterly per share earnings of at least $.25 per share exclusive of a one time gain.... Makes me wonder whether I was treated fairly by the bankruptcy court in the Continental Airlines deal, which terminated all my equity rights.
