Stitch, "So...why?" The only thing that I can think of is that Luzco and Perlman have begun to formulate some plans that they thought AS either would oppose, would not contribute to, and would at least hamper. He (AS) may be attached to some parts of the company that they want to change significantly. Sort of like why the seller of a house should get out of the way of the real estate agent in the sale--it is a home for the seller, but a property for the agent, and a potential home for the buyer, who probably has a different vision of it than the seller got used to. I wish I knew what those [hypothetical] plans are. Remember Machiavelli's saying: The good prince speaks of nothing but peace, and thinks of nothing but war (or at least its possibility). s.
