This seems like hype.

Technically they did beat estimates, but most companies take profits from the IPO of an operating unit as a one time gain. This is then taken out before measuring their performance relative to estimates.

Regardless, this is all related to the protein business, not the internet companies. While I think the protein business is very solid, most investors are buying ZAP for the internet.

The problem with this announcement is that it shows bad qualities in management to hype something like this.

I shorted the stock on this news.
