hi Bill.

i'm following the stock attack thread now, too. chris
had a 9 day moving average at 106...dell hit that
area and bounced right off. that's reason number 1.

reason number 2 is that it has yet to announce. the
concensus is that it should run up > 120 before earnings.

reason number 3 is fundamentals. web sales are now
$6M / day, including $1M in eurpoe. that's up from $5M / day
earlier this year, and $1M / day a year ago. this gives me
confidence...there's trendline support at 92, and previous
resistance was 98. if we go back down to these numbers,
i'm buying november calls, so i should be ok. i'm used to
holding dell options now, not trying to trade them quickly.

reason number 4 is re-entry. i sold 4 calls at 116. what's the
point of selling them if i don't re-enter and dell runs back up
to 117?

reason number 5 is that so far HWP warned and CPQ reported
and their numbers sucked. i think part of the fear is that dell
will have the same weakness. on the other hand, GTW
reports today, and i think the numbers will be ok. that should
boost up dell.

actually, i guess now i should say...bwdik.
but i detest that expression when you guys sign that.

jef
