Not sure when it started. Amazon said they expect acquisition costs to be up but didn't say exactly how much - I suspect another point or two. Lower sales and higher expenditures for expansion will drive down the bottom line. Thanks for the posts on the numbers.

It looks like Amazon.com is going to whimper down rather than bang one way or the other. Could be this is what happens. Bull speculators just get tired of waiting for a miracle to happen and slowly sell off. I don't think either institutions and momentum players will hold onto it for long now that the news period has ended and the prospects have dimmed.
