Craig, Wintel must be getting a little nervous about the momentum that Linux and Alpha are making. Oracle, Informix, and Netscape have all announced Linux support in the last few days. If you combine the stability (and low cost) of Linux, the speed of Alpha, with support from enterprise application vendors, you have a combination that will seriously threaten Wintel's plans for Xeon + NT 5.0. Does anyone know if there is a 64 bit version of Linux for Alpha? news.com Pravin.
