Sort of a disappointing price response today. Perhaps investors focused less on the companies cost reductions, but more on the weakness in orders that led to the reductions. The blame is still placed on utility uncertainty with respect to regulation/deregulation, etc. Certainly utilities will eventually move to automated meter reading - it's just a question of when, and for what reason.

Later this year (when Itron's restructuring stabilizes) would be a good time to get those million shares.
