Sticky Lucent Scrapps comments "Lucent stickers are good I think, never could tell which modem had a LU chip.... Can't wait to read the first post reporting a sighting of a US Robotics 3Com modem on a store shelf with an "Over the Edge" LU sticker on it." Hopefully, we won't be seeing any of those posts, since there aren't any 3Com US Robotics modems with Lucent modem chips in them. There are some Lucent chips in Total Control racks, but they aren't modem chips, rather some of the chips which provide part of the digital telephone line (T1/E1) interface are made by Lucent... along with Intel, Altera, IBM, and of course the TI chips which are the modem DSPs.
