to ALL: Not to confuse things around here, but those of you who are interested may want to take a look at this - I got this PM this morning: Musicguy, I am a bit of a newguy when it comes to the 'pennies' and DD so I thought I would present this stock to you. Anyway my broker has been giving me 'cheap stock ideas' (at my request) - SSMK seems somewhat unique in that they offer assistance in obtaining sports scholarships to high school athletes. They are selling francises across the nation. The big guy behind it is the ex ESPN founder. Seems beyond approach in his class! I think only about 6mil. shrs. outstanding. The stock is at .50 or so-at the 52 week low. It doesn't look like it has been hyped yet. Potential 500 mil in revs. (seems a bit high to me). If you have time to check it, thanks in advance, and after you check it out you may want to post to the thread you think would be best. It its just crappola then sorry for the trouble. I looked briefly, and they seem to be expanding faster than anticipated, but it's a weird business... not a lot of easy to find info, no SEC filings etc... just thought I'd toss this one out for the hell of it... take quick look if it grabs you.
