ELY gets hammered. ELY reported second quarter earnings of 30 cents a share 2 cents below estimates. Also warned of a possible loss of 20 cents a share in the second half of 1998. Merrill Lynch downgrades from LT buy to LT accumulate. Thats a triple bogey. -5 7/8 (30%) Joe
