I haven't tried Win98 myself, so this comment is based on what a Computer Sciences instructor said at a demo I attended last night. He said that WIN98 won't run any 16 bit applications. As lots of the common computer programs people are using have some 16 bit code, if this is true, I expect that there will be lots of unhappy consumers out there when they try to load their old games and other software.

Again, this guy was an MSFT NT instructor and should have known what he is talking about but I can't verify the fact myself.
