In reference to post #1908 on this thread, why was that poster suspended for 7 days?

As I've already told him, and as he has conveyed to others via PM, who have posted it publicly, it was for spamming that message all over the site.

Though I strongly disagree with the post, I didn't see it as a violation of the Terms of Use until it started getting posted everywhere.

It reinforces that what was said in that post is true.

Because of the sentence that said something like "If I'm suspended, you'll know this is all true"?

It's a non-sequitur.
