Colin, I really don't want to argue about every point. Just a few words. Legitimate short covering IS followed by an uptick of the bid. Take any trading book, you will see it written. Together with the reasons why. Locus all over BB was not a leak, because nobody, as far as I remember said: "I was told by the company it is a done deal," People were only discussing the possibility (after official LOI), and were generally dreaming. I 100% agree with you about "until the fat lady sings." As for the selling on the news, it usually happens AFTER a runup. We did not see the runup yet, so there is no substantial selling. BTW, if you look at the tape for the last hour or so, the selling is of the same strength as the buying. The stock is not going anywhere for a while. Grab a "Snickers." Musya
