ColleenB, it is most certainly relevant that EDII is paying Jolly Rodgers to promote them. I presume that the positive reports (hype) will come later. What other purpose would a company have for paying Jolly Rodgers to be on their site? From the press release:

OKLAHOMA CITY--(BUSINESS WIRE)--July 23, 1998--Richard Rodgers,
founder of the Jolly Rodgers World Wide Web site announced today, "We
are pleased to have added American International Industries Inc.
(OTC BB:EDII), FieldPoint Petroleum Corporation (OTC BB:FPPC),
Sinaloa Gold Corp. (OTC BB:SLOG) to our World Wide Web site."
Rodgers also said, "We have just started interviews with company
Presidents and CEOs such as the interview on our web site with Bob
Schulhof, CEO of Omega Orthodontics, Inc. (NASDAQ:ORTH). We are
doing this so that investors may understand more about the companies
listed on Jolly Rodgers web site.

Just making potential investors aware that companies pay to be listed on their web site and judge for themselves the value of what they read. If Jolly Rodgers is paid in stock, any recommendation by them is worthless.
