Thank you for your post JPh, and welcome to the thread.
I would be glad to respond to your questions.
1) The CyBerBroker commission schedule is in fact on our website. The address for CyBerBroker is www.cyber-brokerage.com.
2) Due to the pace of software development over at our sister company, CyBerTrader, Inc., it is possible that we may go directly from CyBerTrader 1.6 Beta and CyBerT 1.2 Beta to 1.7 Beta and 1.3 Beta, respectively. Your concern regarding Beta software is understandable and I would encourage you to speak with other CyBerBroker customers using the Beta software on this thread to get their opinions of the software.
As a matter of policy CyBerTrader, Inc. is in constant development on improvements and upgrades to the software packages. These are issued regardless of whether the release is a general release or a Beta. All software is put through rigorous internal testing before any type of release, thus insuring the highest possible quality at all times.
The reason behind this is due to the fact that it is the customers themselves who direct the development of the software in a very real way. The customers are the ones who determine which functions and features are most important to their continued success and improvement as investors.
3) The quality of a connection to CyBerCenter is one of the most vital aspects of the customer relationship. When using the Internet as a mode of transport the same rules apply as for all other types of Internet activity. The term "Information Superhighway" is an apt label: If the highway is clear you speed along quite comfortably. If, however, you are on during rush hour, or there is an accident on the road (like a part of the Internet going down) you can and will experience delays.
To continue this analogy, if the Internet is truly like a highway, then the speed of your connection is like a car. A high-powered connection may allow you to get through or around these problems much more easily and quickly.
In addressing these problems CyBerCenter always looks for alternatives to the traditional answers. This attitude has given rise to the concept of CyBerNet: A high speed, private Internet operated in partnership with BBN/GTE. If you are stuck in Internet traffic this provides the capability to pull out of the public road and move to a private toll road with far fewer users. CyBerNet is in its final stage of implementation and should be available for full-scale use shortly.
Another solution is CyBerFrame, a dedicated connection straight into the CyBerCenter system. Again in partnership with GTE, CyBerCenter is able to provide a turnkey solution for dedicated connectivity with no service contracts and quick install times.
A final note on connectivity: Experience has taught us that the single most important factor in the day-to-day quality of a customer's connection when utilizing the Internet is their own local ISP. Overall quality varies geographically from provider to provider, so the customer must be diligent in their own personal choice.
For the foreseeable future Internet-related difficulties will be a serious issue. Our focus is to provide solutions through our own family of companies and our telecommunications partners.
4) Different customers fare differently. The CyBerTrader software will not make money in and of itself. It is designed to let traders do that which they do uniquely well, only do it better, faster, and with the highest amount of market transparency and information possible.
5) Posting the commission the commission schedule is possible, but may not be the most effective course. I would instead invite you to peruse the CyBerBroker web site, where a wide array of information is available that may assist you in your decision-making process. The specific fee page location is www.cyber-brokerage.com/fees.html.
6) The current account minimum is $25,000. CyBerBroker has always intended to reach as wide an audience as possible, and to do this reasonably and safely. As we continue to grow we will have the capability to accept many more customers of varying experience levels.
7) In order to provide the the highest quality data services possible CyBerCenter, Inc. charges a Data Service Fee of $300 per month. CyBerBroker waives all or a part of this fee with CyBerCenter based on the individual customer's activity. This makes it economically feasible for us to provide the highest quality products, service, and support for every CyBerBroker customer. In our customer profiling process we actively seek those investors who average three or more individual orders per day.
8) CyBerBroker is a SIPC member, as evidenced by our logo on the web site landing page, and is covered under the SIPC account insurance program. This program provides for a total of $500,000 in coverage, of which no more than $100,000 may be in cash. Additionally, our clearing firm, Penson Financial Services, Inc. in Dallas, Texas, provides a further $9,500,000 in securities coverage through a private insurer.
I hope that this information has been helpful. We would love to hear from you here, so please feel free to call at 512/ 320-5444 if you have further questions about our products and services.
Thanks again for posting, and for the opportunity to respond to your questions.
Sincerely,
Mark K. Stryker CyBerBroker, Inc. |
