The people you ask about have large followings who buy what they tell them to buy, so that the promoters get into the stock, then push it like mad, almost cult-like, and then after they sell theirs, the stock plummets. Also called pump-and-dumpers. But I don't think any of these kinds were involved here. I guess we just didn't have the substantive reasons to have gone as high as we went so fast.
