We took a tour around Sedona and Village of Oak Creek this morning to see what damage had been done. Several small shops had water damage, but nothing major. I guess if you were the shop owners, it would be major ... but I mean no building fell down or anything.

We also drove down towards Cottonwood. Followed the creek through Page Springs and Cornville. Apparently the most damage was done along the creek up in Oak Creek Canyon, and it was the speed and power of the water, not the amount, that caused the damage. The water level didn't get anywhere near the high-water levels of prior "floods".

While we were in Cottonwood, we watched as another big storm moved in from over towards Payson. We hightailed it out of there just as the big raindrops started pelting us, the car, and the road. Hope you're OK. If you get what we had yesterday, all I can say is ... don't go out without a life jacket!
