RE: Dell/Syquest

Great for them. One question. As someone who is buying from Dell, would you rather buy a product that Dell recommends on their site? Or a product that can't be found on their site? I know the press release is for today, and they may not have had time to get Dell to react, but just a little food for thought.

>>First Compaq, now DELL. Apparently, contrary to popular Iomaniac opinion, allegiences are weak in this sector. Boxmakers will include whatever they want to. And Sony HiFi is right around the corner.<<

Funny though, in all the circulars and ads that I've seen from my computer stores, all the Compaq brands have the zip product. Haven't yet seen the Syquest product, but I'm sure they're coming:)

Sony HiFi - Are you going to give us another hallow random guess on when that will come to market in volume? Also, why would anyone outside of Sony bundle this oft-delayed, buggy HiFi product in their boxes?

Plus, you never responded to me as to why you are paying $19.95 for zip disks while the rest of the world can find them for less than $10.
You may want to change dealers.
