I disagree. Changing to a pre-announcing model of PR would only
indicate a lack of confidence in the upcoming/current product line.

If Voodoo II is selling well, and Rampage will release before
Voodoo II and Banshee sales begin to drop off too much, then
preannouncing will only make those sales drop further and faster.

OTOH, if Voodoo II sales are in the toilet and Rampage is late
you might as well preannounce and try to prevent buyers from going
over to other boards.

Keep it the way it is now, with _very_ little info on upcoming
product released.
