Hello maria and thread,
As one who has been named by Mr. Gore as a member of this group, I welcome the opportunity to respond here.
Mr. Gore has made a number of similar accusations previously on the Basher thread and I answered him as best I could. No, I am not a member of any SI group. No, I don't even know how to short a stock. No, I have not even posted on some of the threads he has mentioned.
I signed onto SI last night after a difficult day, only to see that Mr. Gore had posted the message in your link on many SI threads. I made an error in judgement and made a crack to him on the DGIV thread that I should not have posted on a public forum. I have since privately apologized to Mr. Gore, as well as to the SI administration for my post. Regardless of my opinion of Mr. Gore's mental health, as a professional I do not have the right to make statements of that sort in public.
I am, however, concerned about the emotional atmosphere around SI lately. There are many angry people making false and rather vicious statements. I sincerely hope that we can get back to the purpose for which the stock threads were intended.
As usual, you have been a fair and gracious host, maria. Thank you for bringing this to the thread's attention.
