Len, actually, my T&S do not show bid and ask. They are from NAQ RTT, which is kind of a bare bones T&S, I guess.
When I said "indicating that this was the bid", this was the first of many trades that went off at the mentioned price, with other interspersed trades a tick or two higher. To me this "indicates" a drop in bid. If there were not many other trades that followed at the same or lower price, then yes, it could be a number of other things. But, in this case it "appears" the bid has dropped. Also, a peek at the chart, showed the stock basically in free fall. Its pretty apparent that Bill, although maybe not realizing it, was trying to sell above the bid, on a free falling stock. With the 90 second market maker rule, he would have had to get lucky to just sell at the bid, it seems.
I don't mind the "butt in". Please feel free any time.
BTW, off topic, NAQ is very cool. Far superior to the bullsession.com service I was previously using. But, they typically take 15-30 minutes to get caught up to real time in the morning. Is this typical? Disregard this question if you don't use RTT, but I seem to recall you are also a RTT user. Thanks.
