So what happens to your paid-for DIVX titles
when you buy a new player ?

Actually, the question I really want to ask is:
why would Circuit City, a store that makes
money selling gadgets, want to do this ?
a) to squeeze the customer a little more
b) to build a database of people's habits
c) there is no more money in selling gadgets ?!?
d) because it is run by ex-BAC (IT) management.

Also, I am sure the code can be broken. And, if it
can be, then it will be. Just like the cable
descramblers. Boy, wouldn't that be lovely.

The only plus for the customer is the convenience
of not having to return it. Maybe DVD guys can
address that by giving a prepaid return envelope
as an option :-)

Regards
Dinesh
