FAIRFIELD, Conn., Dec. 9 /PRNewswire/ -- DCI Telecommunications, Inc.
(OTC Bulletin Board: DCTC) today announced results from its December 4th
Investor Conference held at the Holiday Inn in Newark, NJ. During the
Investor Conference, the division heads of DCI presented to over fifty
onlookers a first hand look at some of the products being introduced into the
marketplace.
The Technology Division provided flawless product demonstrations of "Data-
Safe"(TM) Technology as well as the new A-Net(TM) "Wireless" Probe.
The Technology Division, performed the product demonstrations and informed
the audience that A-Net drastically reduces wiring costs, is fully portable
and is inexpensive to operate. He also stated that it can operate at both 120
Volts and 220 Volts, and is not subject to interference.
The wireless technology is not dependent on radio signals, but actually
sends digital signals over existing electrical wiring. It was explained that
the digital signals are sent over existing copper or aluminum electric wires,
using the wire as a carrier. The digital signal is carried independently and
there is absolutely no interference from electric current. In fact, digital
signals can be sent whether the electric current is turned on or off.
The worldwide market for the A-Net Probe includes security access,
building and manufacturing automation control, military applications,
transportation, voice, fax and video. The Hershey Medical Foundation will be
the first applied use of the product.
DCI's Consumer Division reported that it had commenced four specific
Privilege Card(TM) Programs for Pitney Bowes, Ski New England, Auto Dealers
and Travelers with Disabilities. In addition, they will be expanding the
United Airlines program.
The Pitney Bowes Privilege Card offers the small businessman discounts on
purchases of an assortment of items relating to his everyday business
activities. The Ski New England program is designed to help the skier reduce
the high cost of the sport by offering discounts at ski lodges, restaurants
and on ski equipment. Automobile dealers can offer their car buyers discounts
and special privileges at local merchants with an Auto Dealers Privilege Card.
Travelers with Disabilities is a club program geared toward the new generation
of handicapped and mature travelers.
Robert Muller, President of recently acquired Muller Media, Inc.,
introduced himself to the listeners and described how he is looking forward to
operating under the DCI umbrella. Along with describing how Muller Media
operates, he explained that he saw a great deal of synergy between DCI and
Muller Media. The licensing rights for various television programming that
the company owns can be expanded for future use over the Internet and provide
net surfers with video clips as well as video on demand services.
