sh,

Over the last several weeks this thread has had a lengthy discussion about the direction the company has been taking. I have made it quite clear what I feel is the appropriate course of action for the company. Sid has been pursuing that strategy so it is obvious why he is acceptable to me. This position has faced considerable debate on this thread. My position is well known. Do you really not know why I support Sid as interim CEO?

A number of people have supported Fred as an alternative. Fine. However the only reasons provided have been platitudes and the position has faced no scrutiny. I had been neutral on the subject up until last week. Since then a number of people who post on this thread have told me in private of specific conversations they have had with Fred. This has led to the concern regarding Fred that I have expressed. I haven't posted this earlier because I felt the others should post the comments but they have not done so yet. I recognize these comments are hearsay. But I believe the people who told me these things. I have posted on this thread long enough for you to have an opinion of my reasoning and honesty. You will have to judge for yourself what weight you wish to give what I say.

But as I said earlier, we have extensive discussions of Sid. Why not have an open discussion about Fred. If you disagree with specific points, lets discuss. I have no hidden agenda here. If someone can disprove the points I have raised I will gladly retract them. But why should Fred get a free pass on examination?

Btw regarding your question: no I have never spoken to Fred. I have also never spoken to Sid. Or John Norton. Or Paul Blumberg. Or Brian Russell. Or Jeffrey Christian. As far as to why I have never spoken to Fred; up until recently he was just another shareholder so there was no reason. Since then several people have encouraged me to call him but I have not had the time. After today's posts he may not take my call. Such is life.

Henry
