FWIW: the AIQ tech program flashed a 100 sell signal on the DJIA last Friday... this is as powerful a sell signal as AIQ generates and must be paid close attention to at extreme ends of a trading range... since we had just made a new market high this signal takes special precedence.... I'm sure many other tech packages did the same... I suspect the big SPNSF buyer of 7/7/98 just tossed his position choosing not to fight the market.... probably smart... the incredible NYSE volume of the past 2 days in this downdraft I'm sure has spooked more than a few... last year we got a real nice Russel 2000 rally starting in May pausing late July early August and continued mid-August until its peek in early Oct.... baby the Russel is due but seems a re-test of the 430-440 area is iminent... I predict the Russel should out-preform the the DJIA for the rest of the year hopefully taking SPNSF with it.... all the value is in the Russel.... the DJIA is a tired old dogger ready to give up the ghost... ES
