Well, I believe that CYBR included their product Uninstaller in the Win98 Plus Pack that Microsoft sells for $39.95. Now if you bought Win98 and you want an uninstall program what do you do. Buy Uninstaller at $15 or Microsoft Plus (which has other programs) at $39.95 or do you buy CleanSweep at $39.95 and $59.95. Not obvious what people would do. BTW, the CleanSweep products have rebates on them.

Now, in the past, programs that were bundled with other programs or hardware, were the "lite" version such as winfax lite. CYBR's strategy may be to use Win98 Plus Pack to introduce their products and then get customers to trade up.

Imho, Qdek has a lot of excellent products. CYBR has, I believe, only four products. Uninstaller and First Aid are OK. I don't like Oil Change. Don't have an opinion on Guard Dog.

Qdek has been around for a long time. Time for them to again get down and dirty, and make things Happen.

Tomorrow, there should be an announcement.
