>> Does that mean you believe Osicom will still be in business then? <<

Osicom will be in business as long as SEC investigators are understaffed and people continue to finance them through private placements. Lucky for you Reg S disclosure rules have been changed otherwise Osicom would probably still be doing those.

>> Are you saying the FIBR just developed its product too soon? <<

No, I believe their products are technically inferior or don't properly address the needs of the market. How else can you account for the lack of sales?

>> Just because JDS said they have not seen "significant" demand does not mean there isn't some. <<

JDS is a leading company in WDM/Optical components. They service companies like NT, LU, and CIEN. Furthermore, Osicom hasn't provided any evidence to the contrary. In fact, Osicom supports the assertion by telling investors recently not to expect much in the way of WDM sales for a while.

>> Any sales at all will be "significant" for FIBR <<

Osicom already has a revenue base of $115 million or so. How is say.. $10 million in Gigamux sales going to make any difference, especially considering how Osicom's core businesses are showing revenue declines.

>> They do not need a lot to do well, even if the "big boys" take the lion share <<

It's strange that you seem to want to invest in the table scraps company as opposed to the companies who are getting the "lion share". Look at a chart of CIEN, LU, and FIBR, and then tell me which looks like the better money maker. Notice how those stocks are in uptrends? Seems kind of logical considering how they have been announcing WDM contracts left and right while Osicom has been out promoting the hell out of their stock. Hmmm...I wonder if there is any correlation between contracts, revenue increases, earnings increases etc. and uptrends?

>> And those "big boys" didn't just appear big overnight. They grew up from "little guys". Still quite possible for FIBR too. <<

Companies like Cisco and Ciena showed promise from their very beginnings. Osicom has been around for 20 years and hasn't accomplished a thing. You would think that people would start to get the clue, that after 20 years and several different failed businesses, that maybe it was a bad idea to bet on this company.

I guess some people never learn...
