Siemens Partners With Jyra in Switzerland
LONDON--(BUSINESS WIRE)--July 24, 1998--Jyra Research Inc. announces that the Siemens Nixdorf Informationssysteme AG. Switzerland, Business Unit Network Systems, is to act as Swiss reseller for Jyra's Service Management Architecture (SMA). Siemens Nixdorf Informationssysteme AG plan to incorporate the Jyra SMA in its new managed service offerings.

In the past fiscal year (1 Oct. 1996 - 30 Sept. 1997) Siemens Nixdorf had incoming orders worth DM15.9 billion and revenues of DM15.4 billion. The company has a workforce of about 36,000 and is represented in about 60 countries. Siemens Nixdorf Informationssysteme AG.offers total network infrastructure solutions to major international companies. Solutions can include Consulting Services, Realisation, Implementation, System integration, Network Management, Maintenance or Training. On the 1st October 1998, Siemens Nixdorf AG will completely integrate without the PC part in the new Siemens Communication organisation under the name I&C (Information and Communication).

New managed service offerings from Siemens Nixdorf Informationssysteme AG. allow it to monitor customers overall network performance against meaningful business orientated goals, such as user response times.
