Brian, mabye "ZIP is too small (and slow), to serve as the primary storage in a low end system," but apparently some think otherwise. Primarily Acer, which will be selling the Acer Basic overseas for a network computer with a Zip as the only drive and Win 3.1 for software. Remember Win 3.1 doesn't take up nearly as much room as Win95 (mabye you don't need 200 MB). (see Acer's www page, we talked about this one a while back, before you came on board) Now, mabye you mean low-end general purpose computer, OK, but that's not the only game in town anymore.
