Alan, I never mentioned MINE! Mine was being discussed on this thread and since I am interested in both IKAR and MINE I commented. I know all of the GE problems by heart Alan. I was discussing the socioeconomic, and business problems of IKAR and of the mining companies in Bolivia, a country considered politically unstable by many. GE is only one of many jr mining company trying to make it in Bolivia. I am waiting for a company named Sun Valley to start trading on the otc bb, another Bolivian jr mining company.

As for the IMF, I remember reading right on this thread, that there may be good news from the IMF concerning the region where IKARs mining operations are and that IKAR would benefit from improvement in the region. I have read about the IMF plan for Russia only.

I work with a Pakistani Pathologist, she and I have discussed the economic problems that have resulted from the break up of the Soviet Union at length.

I was not endorsing MINE, just pointing out that relatively speaking, Bolivian, and other SA, jr mining endeavors may have a better, more stable business climate now and potentially in the near future.

I happen to like IKAR and am disappointed that stock value is a its present point. I would have bought at $1.50 but was waiting for the IMF plan to be announced. I am currently looking at EEL as well as following IKAR.

Patience will be required for all of the above mentioned mining operations, imo, some more than others.
