I agree.

I do not get mad when I cannot log-in primarily becasue I do not
pay much for it. But all internet users will have this and other problem
and they just have to learn to live with it.

Bell Atlantic invested billions and have to abandon their plan of
offering interactive program. It is not because they are
not doing good job, but because they cannot have the market. Similarly,
cable company is looking into the on-line market, and their front
demant is you have to have 16MB memory. We all know MAC performs
better than PC in many aspect but is still losing their market.

There is also the possibility for AOL or alike to form partner with
cable companies, who knows, if doing that will boost cable
subscription.

Well, AOL is starting to decline. It would be interesting to see how
low it can be this time.
